Broadwater has some covered picnic areas with gas barbecues (in day-use area), picnic tables, toilets and cold showers. Donnington Airpark is a 160-acre privately-owned airfield located at Woodstock, 40 km from Townsville on the Flinders Highway. Please take all rubbish with you. Campers will enjoy a lovely nearby drive up Mount Fox - a rising above surrounding eucalypt woodlands where you can find an ancient volcano with a large crater. The Stone River flows near by, which is good for relaxing and enjoying the crystal clear water. Wallaman fall is also close by. The property is located 15 minutes out of Ingahm and under 2 hours out of Townsville. Nice tropical weather. Safe neighbourhood. Very peaceful and relaxing. If wet, vehicles may be bogged. If it rains excessively, keep on high ground.

This property is set on 5 acres of flat and sloping ground. The campsite is part rainforest and has a creek on one side. There is also lots of open forest. I find the rainforest good for enjoying the birds. If you're up for an adventure bring your mountain bike and go riding, or head of for walks along the creek. It's very peaceful. You will find the Wallaman Falls, Mt Fox and National Parks nearby. This campsite is located about half an hour from town. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is a picnic table for meals, access to water, power and wifi as well as rubbish facilities.
