Situated on the south side of Townsville, only a short 10-15 minutes' drive to local shopping and attractions. The park is set on 14 acres of undulating grounds with numerous animal life accompanied by a vast array of local flora. Townsville Eco Resort offers numerous options for big rigs, caravans, campervans, tents, and luxury glamping tents, including accessible accommodation.
Perfectly positioned to make as your base as you explore the sights of Townsville and the region in a secured and gated park that you will feel safe and welcomed. Within close proximity to Bowling Green Bay National Park where you may swim in the crystal-clear waters or hike the trails exploring and photographing the extraordinary scenery and wildlife.
BIG4 Eco Resort Townsville is Advanced Eco-Tourism Accredited, and has a 3-star rating for energy, waste and water with CCIQ Ecobiz. We are not connected to town water or waste. Water is pumped via an onsite bore and processed by a reverse osmosis system for customer enjoyment of facilities, and wastewater processed via the onsite sewage facility. Electricity is also offset via a large bank of solar PV and includes battery backup.
