Situated on the south side of Townsville, only a short 10-15 minutes’ drive to local shopping and attractions. The park is set on 14 acres of undulating grounds with numerous animal life accompanied by a vast array of local flora. Townsville Eco Resort offers numerous options for big rigs, caravans, campervans, tents, and luxury glamping tents. The Black Barra Bar & Café overlooking the beautiful wetland. BIG4 Eco Resort Townsville is Advanced Eco-Tourism Accredited, and has a 3-star rating for energy, waste and water with CCIQ Ecobiz. They are not connected to town water or waste. Water is pumped via an onsite bore and processed by a reverse osmosis system for customer enjoyment of facilities, and wastewater processed via the onsite sewage facility. Electricity is also offset via a large bank of solar PV and includes battery backup.

Powered slab sites are mostly drive thru and have available water and power connection including sullage. Some are shaded by large mahogany trees whilst others are in full sun.

Air-conditioned cabin with double bed. Facilities include cook-top, full fridge, television and undercover area. Linen is supplied. Please note cabin is non smoking and not serviced. No toilet or shower though it is situated next to the amenity block.

Cancellation Policy
Terms & Conditions Bookings made online will take full payment. Direct bookings with our staff through email or over telephone will follow our deposit policy: Deposit Policy A deposit equivalent to one-night’s stay is required to confirm reservation. This payment can be made by credit card (VISA or MasterCard only). The balance of fees can be paid on arrival. Cancellation Policy A minimum of 48 hours notice prior to arrival date is required; cancellations made within 48 hours will result in an administration fee of the first night being taken. Refund Policy Refunds will be given in accordance to the Cancellation Policy above. Any remaining funds after the administration fee will be returned to you via the method of original payment. We do not give refunds once checked in if you simply change your mind your circumstances change or you choose the wrong accommodation. Receipt of deposit means we hold the accommodation for you. However you may be entitled to a refund or credit where our services or accommodation are significantly faulty wrongly described different to an example shown to you or don't provide what they are supposed to. Any refunds due to Covid19 will be at discretion of park management.
