The trails are nothing short of a trail runners dream, flowy single track, challenging climbs, rewarding descents and spectacular views over the city as well as Magnetic Island and beyond. Don’t be fooled by the shorter distances in kilometres as in trail running you also have to take into account the elevation and technicality of the terrain. There is stairs and rock scrambles to be conquered, but the finish line will leave you with a sense of achievement and a want for more. The event offers a three kilometre course for beginners and kids, a seven kilometre intermediate course and a tough 10 kilometre for the more experienced runners. This event offers a great trail running experience right on your front door step. We acknowledge the Wulgurukaba people of Gurambilbarra as the Traditional Owners of this land. We pay our respects to their cultures, their ancestors and their Elders, past and present – and all future generations....
