About
Amaroo Rainforest Resort Magnetic Island is the ideal destination for a relaxing island getaway, located just eight kilometres off Townsville. Set within 10 acres of lush tropical gardens in Nelly Bay, the resort offers a peaceful, nature‑immersed escape with plenty of space to unwind.
Guests can enjoy a large magnesium saltwater pool, expansive open grounds, tennis courts, a barbecue area and a children's playground. Free private parking is available on site, and the Picnic Bay Bus stops directly at the front of the resort. The shuttle service to and from the ferry terminal is available subject to availability.
The resort offers a wide range of accommodation styles and sizes to suit all budgets, from couples and families to groups, schools and sporting teams. Each unit includes a flat‑screen TV, private bathroom with shower and toilet, complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. All units also feature a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, kettle and essential kitchenware.
