Adrenalin Snorkel and Dive
These school holidays when it's hot outside, the Museum of Tropical Queensland is the cool place to be with a new science exhibition, awesome events and interactive activities for children of all ages.
Commencing Saturday 15 December, daily activities include the new Sciencentre gallery - a discovery-zone with plenty of fun with more than 20 interactive exhibits to find out how science challenges the human body, exercises the brain and stimulates the senses.
The new Construction Zone will also make for hours of imaginative play with the Big Blue Blocks and LEGO® plus the fun continues with the range of interactive exhibitions found across two massive air-conditioned floors.
The excitement factor is taken up a notch from January 7 to 24 with a variety awesome special events including live science and 3D planetarium shows. In conjunction with Reef HQ, on Friday 18 January the Museum will open for one-night only before the school holidays finish and the Summer Days come to an end. Visit for a night of ‘science made simple’ with pop up science buskers, craft and other fun activities.
