Townsville City Council presents official ANZAC Day Commemorations in partnership with the Townsville RSL Sub-Branch and the Thuringowa RSL Sub-Branch

ANZAC Day is nationally recognised as a day to pay respect to and acknowledge those Australian and New Zealand service men and women who have served and lost their lives in war ANZAC Day services and marches are held to mark the anniversary of the first major military action, wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.
